Susan Schuyler SmithSusan Schuyler Smith, founder and president of Spectrum Interior Design, graduated with honors from the University of Florida's College of Architecture and Fine Arts.

Susan has received numerous accolades such as the Presidential Citation for Distinguished Service from the American Society of Interior Designers in 1993, the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Florida in 1996, and first place in the living room category of the annual American Society of Interior Design/Southern Accents Design awards in 2002 and 2006.

Additionally, Susan has taken an active role in her community by serving on various boards. Susan served on the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design as both vice chairman and chairman since being appointed to the board in 1989 by Governor Martinez. She is also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and an affiliate member of the Indian River chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Susan's community work is not limited to the design realm. She is passionate about McKee Botanical Garden and is currently the president of the board of directors. Susan was a member of the City of Vero Beach Vision Committee and on the Board of Directors, Indian River Chamber of Commerce.
